Lucy Ashton is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. The charity SANDS has helped us and many others through this heartbreaking experience, including providing a room away from labour ward so that we did not have to give birth next to live babies. They also provide essential training to midwives and offer a range of follow up support. It is not a subject that people talk about much but 17 babies are stillborn in the UK every day.
